A UEFA não autorizou que a Allianz Arena fosse iluminada com as cores do arco-íris da comunidade LGBT durante o Alemanha-Hungria, esta quarta-feira, às 20 horas, num jogo relativo ao grupo F, onde também aparece inserido Portugal.
O pedido tinha sido feito pela cidade de Munique em protesto contra uma lei aprovada na Hungria, mas o organismo que tutela o futebol europeu recusou. Uma recusa que já mereceu resposta por parte de vários clubes como o Bayern Munique, o dono do estádio onde se vai realizar o encontro entre Alemanha e Hungria.
"Ter uma mente-aberta e tolerância é fundamental e são valores cruciais na nossa sociedade, valores pelos quais o Bayern defende", afirma Herbert Hainer, presidente do Bayern Munique, através de um comunicado.
Além do Bayern, o Wolfsburgo e o Schalke 04 também responderam à UEFA e ligaram as luzes dos seus estádios.
"Não se trata de fazer nenhuma provocação. Trata-se de fazer a coisa certa", escreveu o Schalke 04 nas redes sociais.
