Miguel Oliveira was forced to retire from the French Grand Prix this Sunday, when there were only 11 laps to go, so, for the first time in the new season of the MotoGP World Championship, he did not finish a race.
The Portuguese rider started from 12th position on the starting grid, but quickly 'climbed' places, to the point of having even reached eighth. However, when nothing made him foresee it, he began to 'lose gas', until he had no alternative but to return to the 'pit lane', from where he would not end up returning.
According to the first information provided by Sport TV, the Aprilia Racing man will have suffered a problem with the rear tire of the bike, which prevented him from completing the Le Mans track in its entirety.
As for the victory, it ended up going to Jorge Martín, who finished immediately ahead of Marc Márquez and Francesco Bagnaia, 'avenging' the withdrawal in Spain, and reinforcing the isolated leadership in the overall standings.
