Schumacher's return to F1 may be near: "It's a possibility"
Alpine has the young German referenced for the next season.

Mick Schumacher left Haas at the end of 2022 and has since been without a fixed place in Formula 1. The German is a test driver for Mercedes-AMG and this season has signed for the Alpine team in the World Endurance Championship. However, the French team could be the open door that the young German wants for F1.
According to Alpine team boss Bruno Famin, Mick Schumacher is one of the names on the table for 2025.
"He is one of the possibilities, for sure. Like many, like many. Mick is doing an incredible job in endurance. What is impressive is his mindset", Famim began by saying.
"Of course, he is fast, but I think everybody knows he is fast. But the thing is not to evaluate the pure performance of the driver... Where Mick has been really incredible is in his adaptation to the endurance mindset. He has been very helpful since the first minute and very helpful for his teammates", added the head of Alpine in Formula 1.
In addition to Schumacher, Jack Doohan, Alpine's reserve driver, is also one of the possibilities if Esteban Ocon or Pierre Gasly leave the French team.
