Metallica’s ‘M72’ tour runs from May 24 to July 14 and will stop at nine European cities… with the help of Iveco Bus. This tour will be more sustainable, thanks to the fleet provided to all the staff at the concert venues. Two eDaily electric minibuses and an Evadys touring coach with a latest-generation engine compatible with the alternative fuel XTL ensure that the staff can travel sustainably and comfortably. With matching livery, the two eDaily minibuses can accommodate 19 and 22 passengers, respectively. They are equipped with three batteries with a total capacity of 111 kWh and an electric synchronous motor with a maximum power of 140 kW and maximum torque of 400 Nm. The flexible charging mode allows for rapid charging up to 80 kW at public charging stations, industrial outlets and domestic sockets. The eDaily minibuses offer a range of 200 km. The Evadys is a 13-meter-long Iveco Bus vehicle with a 400 hp (294 kW) Cursor 9 XTL engine compatible with the Euro VI-e standard. It can accommodate 63 seated passengers. To guarantee passengers the best possible comfort and safety, the vehicle is equipped with USB sockets, offers around 12 m3 of luggage space and includes the new driving assistance systems.
