After five days of the initially stipulated deadline – and several complaints by swifties –, See Tickets made available, this Wednesday, the tickets for Taylor Swift's debut in Portugal, which will take over the Estádio da Luz next week, on May 24 and 25.

“We inform you that the tickets are now available on the See Tickets Wallet app. We regret the inconvenience caused”, the ticket office replied to the complaints left over the last few days on the Portal da Queixa.

While many celebrated finally having access to the tickets purchased in July last year, others took to social media to appeal that, on a next occasion, the ticket office have a more transparent stance and release “any type of information in advance”.

“Ignoring us for days was simply unnecessary”, lamented a user of X (Twitter).

It should be recalled that several swifties took to both the Portal da Queixa and social media to report the delays by the ticket office, which they accused of not being able “to give customers a justification”.

This is because, last July, See Tickets stated that the tickets would be "available through the See Tickets Wallet app approximately 14 days before the event date", information that is still available on the help page dedicated to the American singer's shows.

The app, in turn, indicated that the tickets would be "available on 05/10/2024 at 10:00 am" or the next day, depending on the event date. However, up until yesterday, there was no sign of the tickets.

Regarding the reports of cancellation of tickets of companions of Persons with Reduced Mobility (PRM), See Tickets clarified that the tickets “were changed to €0 tickets, but they are confirmed”.

As for the “legal resale of tickets”, which became active again for the two concerts on Tuesday, the entity pointed out that VIP tickets are not included and that, “at this time, there are no tickets available from fans who cannot attend”.

Even so, the setbacks associated with the ticket sales for the Eras Tour are piling up, since, in November, dozens of fans saw their tickets being cancelled, allegedly without explanation.

In line with the emails received by the swifties, Last Tour, the event promoter in Portugal, assured Notícias ao Minuto that the cancellation was being applied in "some cases that exceeded the maximum number of purchases allowed of four tickets", and that "See Tickets [was] managing the operation with the customers".

However, the problems started even before the ticket sales, with most fans considering that the process was "very stressful" and "disorganised". This is because both the show's floor plan and the prices were only released at the beginning of the official sales, which made the process difficult. However, for now, the fans can breathe a sigh of relief.

Taylor Swift makes her debut in Portugal on May 24 and 25, 2024, at the Estádio da Luz, accompanied by the band Paramore. According to See Tickets, the doors open at 4:00 pm and the show, which will last about three hours, starts at 6:00 pm.

In addition to 45 songs from her 11 released albums, the artist usually treats fans to other songs, usually acoustic. She has also been accompanied by guests with whom she has songs in common, including Phoebe Bridgers, Marcus Mumford, and even Ice Spice.
