Tony Carreira, Buba Espinho and Wet Bed Gang are some of the names on the poster for the Festas Antoninas, which will take place from June 7 to 13 in Vila Nova de Famalicão, it was announced today.

In a statement, the municipality said that the poster includes about 40 activities, with another highlight being the parade of marches, scheduled for the night of June 12.
The centenary of the Capela de Santo António sets the tone for this year's parade, which will feature the participation of 10 local associations.
The entertainment program for the Festas Antoninas also includes Sons do Minho, a cavaquinho meeting, a Camilian walk, the "Tocá Bombar" parade, an ethnographic parade and a folklore festival.
On the religious side, there will be a procession in honor of Santo António through the main streets of the city.
Before that, in the morning, there will be a mass and the distribution of bread, following a secular tradition.
The opening of the festivities will be in charge of the little ones, with the children's marches, on the 7th.
The Festas Antoninas de Famalicão are included in the National Inventory of Intangible Cultural Heritage (INPCI), as a result of a process that began in 2015 with the adhesion of the municipality of Vila Nova de Famalicão to the regional project Romarias do Minho.
