Hundreds of people are already queuing to enter the Estádio da Luz, in Lisbon, to see the American singer Taylor Swift, this Friday. The goal is to secure a place as close as possible to the stage, despite the fact that the doors of the venue will only open to the general public at 4:00 pm.

According to the information provided, those who purchased VIP 1 and 2 tickets will be entitled to early entry to the stadium, between 3:00 pm and 3:45 pm. As for the tickets for the stands, they have reserved seating.

On social media, several videos are being shared - which you can see below and in the gallery - showing fans queuing to access the 'front stage' and the pitch. There are also queues to access the singer's 'merchandising' stand.

Also on social media, the singer's fans are advising other 'swifties' to bring sunscreen and water with them, on a day when temperatures in the city of Lisbon will fluctuate between 14ºC and 25ºC.

The first show is scheduled to start at 6:15 pm with a performance by the band Paramore. The star of the night, Taylor Swift, is expected to take the stage at 7:45 pm.

The 'The Eras Tour' stop in Portugal, initially for one date only, was announced almost a year ago, in June. Tickets were due to go on sale in July, but interested parties had to register to eventually access the purchase.

Ticket prices ranged from 62.50 to 539 euros, plus fees, and sold out in no time, as has been the case on all dates of this tour.

The tour, which celebrates Taylor Swift's career with a setlist that includes the most popular songs from the singer's albums, kicked off in March last year in Glendale, in the US state of Arizona, and will only end in December this year in Vancouver, Canada.

This world tour by Taylor Swift was the first to surpass $1 billion in revenue, according to Forbes magazine.
