Singer Taylor Swift took to social media to talk about her debut in Portugal, which took place this weekend at the Estádio da Luz, in Lisbon.

"I left my heart in Lisbon. My first time in Portugal and you all made me feel like I was right at home", she began by writing.

"I’ll seriously never forget the way you treated us, the overwhelming love and passion and hands in the air and dancing and how you screamed every lyric", she added.

"Muito obrigada", she concluded in Portuguese.

The American singer promised to return to Portugal and, in an emotional speech, said that she had 'regretted' never having been there before.

In addition to Taylor Swift, who delighted thousands of fans, there were moments that marked the concert, such as a marriage proposal.

The artist and Paramore - who assured the Portuguese that they were the best audience so far - continue on to concerts in Madrid, Spain, where they will also perform in double doses.

The 'Eras Tour' will continue until December 8, with a final stop in Vancouver, Canada.
