The North American band Thirty Seconds to Mars performed on Wednesday night at the MEO Arena in Lisbon, and decided to repeat the dose on Thursday with an improvised concert in the capital's downtown.

The concert was announced by the band's vocalist, Jared Leto, who used Instagram Stories to say he had "a little announcement" for Portuguese fans.

"We'll be at Praça do Comércio tomorrow to play a few songs", said Jared Leto, warning that the concert would be a "little secret".

However, the concert was (very) little secret and gathered hundreds of fans in Praça do Comércio by the statue of D. José I and by Rua Augusta.

Thirty Seconds to Mars, it should be noted, was founded by Jared Leto and his brother, Shannon, in 1998.
