Cristiano Ronaldo is having a sensational season with Al Nassr, so much so that he already has 42 goals, something that hasn't happened since 2017/18, that is, since his time at Real Madrid.

Therefore, the newspaper AS wanted to know which, after all, was CR7's most scoring season during his time in Spanish football, having represented the meringues between 2009 and 2018. In 2011/12, the Portuguese international managed to reach six dozens of goals in a season, but it was in 2014/15 that he signed his career record, with 61 goals and 21 assists (another maximum in his career as a footballer).

There were also spells at Juventus and Manchester United, with some seasons more discreet than others, until the opportunity to move to Saudi Arabia came up just over a year ago, where he managed to position himself as the world's top scorer in 2023.

Cristiano Ronaldo is thus 19 goals away from matching his best historical milestone and, therefore, 20 away from surpassing it, at a time when there are only ten games left in Al Nassr's calendar - which would imply an average of two goals per game. As for assists, CR7 has 12 and is nine away from his 2014/15 record, when he won the Champions League at the Estádio da Luz, against rivals Atlético de Madrid.

Even so, note that Luís Castro's team could reach the final of the Copa del Rey, increasing to 11 the number of duels it will have until the end of the season.
