Villas-Boas announces Mário Santos as 'reinforcement' in FC Porto elections
Former president of the Portuguese Canoe Federation is the elected candidate for the position of general director of sports.

André Villas-Boas introduced, at the end of the morning this Saturday, in a press conference, Mário Santos as his choice to occupy the position of general director of FC Porto sports, if he wins the elections, on April 27.
"I present Mário Santos. He was president of the Portuguese Canoe Federation, member of the Executive Council of the Portuguese Olympic Committee, vice-president of the European Canoe Association and head of the Portuguese Mission at the London Olympic Games in 2012", he began by saying.
"Strengthen the competitiveness of the sports in activity, including the women's side. Continue to bet on adapted sports with the same ambition. Integrate new sports, promote the importance of sports practice", he added.
To finish, the candidate for list B gave the motto to the 'right-hand man': "All this, and not only, asks for an FC Porto that rises. That continues to win, to grow, to train and to be exemplary. Me and all the members will demand it. Long live FC Porto".
