Benzema sends 'message' to Al-Ittihad: "I need other players"
French international has yet to score any goal in 2024.

Karim Benzema continued on Friday what is shaping up to be a season 'to forget', having drawn a blank in the draw conceded by Al-Ittihad Jeddah when hosting Al-Taawon.
All things considered, the French international has not scored a single goal since the 3-1 defeat to Al-Ahly on 15 December 2023, which cost them a place in the quarter-finals of the Club World Cup. After the final whistle, he explained what was going on and took the opportunity to leave a 'message' to the club itself.
It's not the same game, it's not the same players. I need to be helped. I need help on the pitch. I can't win a game on my own," he began by saying, in statements made to the Saudi television station Action Ma' Waleed.
"I need other players, I need a lot of things, but it's different. This is my first season in Saudi Arabia. I hope to finish the season well, I hope to win, and that's it," added the former Real Madrid striker.
