Penafiel left behind the two consecutive defeats suffered against Benfica B (by 0-1) and FC Porto B (by 3-1), and returned, at the end of the morning of this Saturday, to the triumphs, when receiving and beating Belenenses, by a categorical 3-0.

After a first half 'orphan' of goals, at the 25 de Abril Municipal Stadium, the second proved to be rich in events. André Silva broke the tie, at 48 minutes, Robinho converted a penalty, at 54, and David Suker scored, at 59. However, VAR cancelled this last one, due to an offside position.

Even so, the home team refused to give up, and, at 81 minutes, Robinho once again put himself in the spotlight, this time, by assisting for the accurate shot of Gabriel Barbosa, who sealed the final result.

With this triumph, Penafiel now has 31 points, which allows it to rise, provisionally, to the 13th position, with a seven-point advantage over Oliveirense, a team that lives just below the 'waterline' and that will still receive Benfica B.

Belenenses, on the other hand, is 17th and second to last in the II League, with 20 points won, at a time when there are only six rounds left until the end of the season, so the risk of relegation is increasingly serious.
