Sérgio Vieira confident in Estrela da Amadora's away win

"We look a lot at what we are capable of doing and, in these away games that we have to win, we want to start with the three points. We will have three more home games, which makes a total of nine points and with which we reach 35, which makes us meet the season's objectives, but we want more than that. We have the ability to play a great game in Moreira de Cónegos, respecting very much the qualities and skills that the opponent has", he said, at a press conference.

The 'tricolores' only have one away win, which dates back to October, when Ronaldo Tavares scored the only goal of the visit to Casa Pia, in Rio Maior, in the 90+3 minute, which Sérgio Vieira explains with the club's inexperience in the top division.

"It is not easy to have several away wins. In terms of priorities, the determining factor is to have the players available. If the squad we have assembled since the beginning was always available, I believe we would have more away wins. There were games that we felt we played well, we didn't have many chances, but we could have won. We look at this statistic as not very valuable, but we want to invert it by improving our working conditions, our demands, our processes and having players available", he stressed.

Thus, the coach of the Reboleira team assured that the work group has "a very strong conviction" that the three points will be within reach and that the players will "give everything to make it possible", although he recognises the quality of the opponent.

"Moreirense is a project that has been going on for several years. Before they were relegated, they were already in the I Liga and they rose again, with great working conditions, a coach who is competent, players with individual quality that is demonstrated match after match and who are playing a quiet championship, even above expectations. They are a mature and well-worked team, a well-organised and stable club and, therefore, it will be a difficult game, one of those that we like to play. In the I Liga there are no easy games", he considered.

Also present in the preview of the duel, the experienced captain Miguel Lopes expressed that "all games are to be won" and reinforced the idea that the squad is "a family", which helped him in his return to the pitch after an injury that kept him out for months.

"It's been a long time since I had such a long injury. I came back stronger, I talked a lot with the 'mister' about mental relations, about overcoming myself and being better and better. It helped me a lot. My teammates, always with great strength, also helped a lot. No player likes to be injured for a long time, so coming back, doing what I like, helping the team and showing race and will is something that characterises me", he stressed.

Estrela da Amadora, 15th classified with 26 points, will face Moreirense, sixth with 42, on Sunday, at 6 pm, at the Estádio Comendador Joaquim de Almeida Freitas, in Moreira de Cónegos, with Ricardo Baixinho, from the Lisbon association, as referee.
