'Heart-stopping' game takes Lank Vilaverdense off the bottom of the table

Lank Vilaverdense won, at the end of the morning this Sunday, what was its first victory in more than two months, when it received and beat Mafra, by 2-1, in a match counting towards the 28th round of the second tier of Portuguese football.
Bruno Silva made the stands of the Coimbra City Stadium 'explode' with joy, with some happiness in the mix, at the 66th minute of the match. However, at the 82nd minute, Miguel Sousa took a free kick in an excellent way, making the ball 'kiss' the net guarded by Rogério Santos.
When everything seemed to point to another 'slip' by the team led by Sérgio Machado, behold, six minutes after the 90th, Lénio Neves assisted André Soares for the goal that ended up sealing the final result.
With this triumph, Lank Vilaverdense now has 20 points, which allows it to rise to the 17th and penultimate position, tied with Belenenses, who, the day before, was defeated when visiting Penafiel, by 3-0.
Mafra, on the other hand, remains with 38 points, and is ranked 28th, tied with Académico de Viseu, who will still face FC Porto B, on Monday, at the end of the round.
