Sporting split between the pitch and the gym after Benfica

Less than 24 hours after receiving and beating Benfica, by 2-1, in the long-awaited derby of the 28th round of the I League, the main Sporting team returned, at the end of the morning of this Sunday, to work, in Alcochete.
In the form of a short note shared through the official platforms, the Alvalade club informs that "the players most used in last night's game", before the eternal rivals, "did the usual post-game recovery work, while the others were under the orders of Rúben Amorim".
The only exception ended up being the Spanish goalkeeper, Antonio Adán, who continues to recover from a muscle injury in his left leg, and the date for his return to the pitch remains a complete unknown.
The green and white squad will enjoy a break on Monday. The next round of training is scheduled for next Tuesday, where the 'starting shot' will be given in preparation for the trip to Gil Vicente's ground.
