Campelos, who took over at the start of the season, leaves the club following Saturday's defeat to Rio Ave (3-0), the third consecutive loss for the Gilistas in the I Liga, on matchday 28.

The Barcelos team has not won any of the last six matches in the championship and is in 13th place, just two points above the play-off spot.

In addition, the last three matchdays have been full of departures, since, after the 27th, Artur Jorge left the command of Sporting de Braga, fourth place, to join the Brazilian Botafogo and Armando Evangelista replaced João Pedro Sousa at Famalicão on the 26th round.

On the first matchday of the current edition of the I Liga, and after a triumph in Amadora, Moreno 'slammed the door' at Vitória de Guimarães, but the substitute did not last long in the 'Cradle City': Brazilian Paulo Turra led the Minhotos in five games in the I Liga, won only two and was also eliminated from the League Cup by the secondary Tondela, being replaced by Álvaro Pacheco, on the seventh matchday.

In the meantime, the same Moreno went to Chaves, being hired for the position of José Gomes, on the fifth round, after the transmontanos recorded five defeats in the same number of games in the championship.

Before taking over the Guimarães team, Álvaro Pacheco had been replaced at Estoril Praia by Vasco Seabra, on the sixth matchday, while the end of the 11th round brought two changes at once, at Casa Pia and Arouca, with the entries of Pedro Moreira and Daniel Sousa for the positions of Filipe Martins and Daniel Ramos, respectively.

In his second stint on the 'bench' of Boavista, Petit was another 'victim' of the results, in December last year, 13 rounds had passed, being replaced in office by Ricardo Paiva.

The Spaniard Pablo Villar gave way to his compatriot Rúben de la Barrera on the 'bench' of Vizela, on the 14th round, in December last, preceding the longest period without coaching changes in the main echelon.

The cycle would be broken in February, on the 21st round, when Pedro Moreira was removed from the command of Casa Pia, just 86 days after taking office, to replace Filipe Martins. Gonçalo Santos, who was part of the previous technical team, is the current coach of the Lisbon team.
