Sporting renews with international under-17. Gouveia reveals the biggest dream
Miguel Gouveia is 16 years old and regularly plays for Sporting's under-19 team.

Young goalkeeper Miguel Gouveia has signed a professional contract with Sporting, as announced this Monday by the Lions. The young goalkeeper is a Portuguese U-17 international. This season, he played 24 times for Sporting's U-19 team.
Speaking to the Alvalade club's media, Miguel Gouveia did not hide that this was a step "that he had wanted for a long time".
"I feel proud and I thank all my coaches, Sporting staff and family. I will continue to give my all to go further," said the young man who joined the Cristiano Ronaldo Academy in 2021/2022.
"Making my debut for the A team and one day stepping onto a full Estádio José Alvalade" are his big dreams, he admitted. He also said that his main reference is Antonio Adán, the first team's goalkeeper. "I am very happy to sign for Sporting CP and I will continue to give my all for this club," Gouveia assured.
