Jota Silva beats Gyokeres and is the Primeira Liga forward of the month

The Portuguese League announced, in the form of a statement issued through official platforms at the end of Tuesday afternoon, that Jota Silva was elected the best forward to play in the main tier of national football, in March.
The Portuguese international sees, in this way, recognized what was a truly 'devilish' month, in which he helped Vitória SC to conquer four victories after as many matches (against Estoril, Famalicão, Desportivo de Chaves and Moreirense), by scoring four goals.
The 24-year-old player collected 29.06% of the votes from the coaches who play in the I League, which allowed him to leave behind the competition of Viktor Gyokeres, from Sporting (with 20.51%), and Simon Banza, from Sporting de Braga (with 14.53%).
The 'icing on the cake' for a 'dream' period for Jota Silva, who, it should be recalled, in the meantime, also saw Roberto Martínez give him his debut in the main Portuguese national team.
