Rúben Amorim elected manager of the month in the I League

Liga Portugal announced, in a statement issued through official platforms at the end of Wednesday morning, that Rúben Amorim is the winner of the March edition of the Vítor Oliveira Award, for the best month.
The Sporting helmsman thus sees recognized what was an 'immaculate' period of time, in which he led the team to four triumphs at the end of so many other rounds, against Farense, Arouca, Boavista and Estrela da Amadora, which were worth consolidating the isolated leadership of the table.
The former Portuguese international received 41.03% of the votes of his fellow professionals, which allowed him to leave behind the competition of Álvaro Pacheco, from Vitória SC (with 22.22%), and Artur Jorge, from Sporting de Braga (with 17.09%).
As for the other categories, it should be recalled that Charles Silva and Jota Silva, from Vitória SC, were distinguished as goalkeeper and forward of the month, respectively. Pepe, from FC Porto, was the best defender, and João Neves, from Benfica, the best midfielder.
