Before or after the Clássico? Amorim predicts Matheus Reis' recovery

Matheus Reis' absence in Sporting's win against Gil Vicente (0-4), this Friday, did not go unnoticed and, in the analysis conference after the match in Barcelos, Rúben Amorim addressed the defender's injury, predicting the time he will be out.

"Matheus Reis felt a pain in the last training session, he is not fit and I don't think he will be fit for at least the next two games", he began by saying, so the duels against Famalicão (April 16) and Vitória SC (April 21) are in sight.

"We have to evaluate, it is an important loss. It was at the last moment of training and Reis hid the injury. Then he went for the set pieces... We'll see", he added.

Thus, Matheus Reis could be an option in time for the Clássico, against FC Porto, on April 28, with relevance in the league accounts.
