Mário Rui sent off in another compromising result for Napoli

Napoli, the reigning Italian champions, are going from bad to worse, and, at the end of Sunday morning, further complicated their accounts of places to access European competitions, due to the draw of two balls conceded in the reception to Frosinone.
The team where the Portuguese international Mário Rui plays (who was sent off in the final moments) even started well in the match played at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, and, after just 16 minutes, was already in the lead, thanks to a precise shot by Matteo Politano, assisted by Giovanni di Lorenzo.
However, they did not give continuity to the good signs. At 30 minutes, Matías Soulé wasted an opportunity to restore equality to the scoreboard, in the marking of a great penalty, but, at the start of the second half, Walid Cheddira did not forgive.
Victor Osimhen even put the azzurro team, once again, in the lead, at 63 minutes, but, just ten minutes later, Walid Cheddira scored again and put an end to the story once and for all.
With the math done, Napoli now has 49 points, which leaves it in eighth place, one point behind Atalanta, the last team on the 'continental train', which will still receive Hellas Verona. Frosinone, on the other hand, is 17th, with 27 points.
