Pinto da Costa: "Academy? They will have to swallow everything they said"
FC Porto's President leaves a message for André Villas-Boas.

Pinto da Costa, president of FC Porto and candidate for the presidential elections scheduled for April 27, left a message this Sunday to André Villas-Boas, another candidate, about the academy of the blue and white club.
"One might wonder why I am running again after 42 years. I thought a lot about not doing it. My family thought it was time for me to rest. At first I was happy with the appearance of a candidacy, because there was an alternative, but when I saw the first row at the presentation, I realized that the siren song they were singing to me was to leave the door open for people to enter", began by saying Pinto da Costa, in a campaign action at the FC Porto house in Argoncilhe, quoted by the newspaper O JOGO, continuing.
"I decided that I would not allow FC Porto to open its doors to enemies. I didn't want FC Porto to be a battlefield for television rights. Whoever paid more has them. We will not give in to blackmail in any way. The fight is for scorched earth. They are doing inadmissible things. Raúl Costa, one of the mentors of the other candidacy, who is a businessman, sold Luiz Díaz to Liverpool. When he was going to receive a commission of about four million, he asked to divide it by three because he had to. We saw no harm in it and accepted. Do you know what happened? One of the partners filed a lawsuit against us in FIFA that would prevent us from participating in national competitions. I want to be a candidate for the future of FC Porto. I am a candidate because no matter how much they tried to boycott our academy in Maia, they did not succeed. It will be a reality. It will be our pride and the best in Portugal. It is not a utopia, nor a stream of lies, as the other candidate said. If they are ashamed, they will have to swallow everything they said", stressed the current president of the Dragons.
