Villarreal want to keep Gonçalo Guedes, but only at a 'knockdown price'
The Portuguese international is on loan to the Spanish from Wolverhampton until the end of the season.

After a first half below expectations, at the service of Benfica, partly due to the physical problems that 'tormented' him, Gonçalo Guedes is recovering his best version, at the service of Villarreal.
Having done the math, the Portuguese international has a total of two goals and three assists in the 12 matches in which he was called to participate, on his return to Spain, and those responsible for the 'Yellow Submarine' have already made it known that they intend to acquire him from Wolverhampton, on a permanent basis.
The loan, it should be recalled, ends at the end of this season. Even so, according to information released, this Monday, by the Spanish portal Relevo, the current ninth-placed team in La Liga does not intend to go 'crazy'.
This means that the permanence of the 27-year-old forward at the Estadio de la Cerámica will depend not only on the values demanded by the Premier League club, but also on the player's willingness to reduce his salary.
