AS Roma confirmed this Thursday, through an official statement, that Daniele de Rossi will continue to lead the Italian team in the near future. The historic transalpine player succeeded Mourinho as coach of the Giallorossi and the work he has been doing satisfies Dan and Ryan Friedkin, who are the owners of AS Roma. "Following a meeting yesterday afternoon with Daniele De Rossi, we are pleased to announce that he will continue as coach of AS Roma beyond the end of this season and into the future. In his short time as head coach, the positive impact his leadership has had throughout the club has continued the narrative of his extraordinary story with AS Roma," the official statement reads. "Daniele's leadership is marked by respect and courage, while his strength and confidence, deeply rooted in the club, resonate with the values of AS Roma, the city, and our fans, who are second to none.
