He preferred Lazio to Benfica. Now, he will only renew if... paid 100 euros
Italian press reveals a curious clause in Kamada's contract.

Daichi Kamada was on the verge of joining Benfica in the last summer transfer window after finishing his contract with Eintracht Frankfurt. However, he ended up signing with Lazio.
The Japanese international had some difficulties in adapting to the plans of coach Maurizio Sarri, but gained another prominence with the arrival of his successor, Igor Tudor. However, the continuity at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome for next season is far from being a given.
The 27-year-old player's contract ends next June, and if he wants to renew it, he will have to... pay 100 euros, according to information released this Thursday by journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The reporter, who specializes in issues related to the closed season, gives an account of a curious clause in the link between both of them, which will extend it until 2027, if it is activated by the end of May.
