According to a note published on the club's official website, the body headed by José Lourenço Pinto validated the constitution of the candidacies headed by the current president of Porto, Pinto da Costa (list A), by the former coach of the football team André Villas-Boas (B) and by the teacher and businessman Nuno Lobo (C), a candidate who lost in 2020.

Pinto da Costa proposes António Oliveira, João Rafael Koehler, Marta Massada, Vítor Baía, Vítor Hugo and Nuno Cerejeira Namora for the vice-leadership of the board and António Borges, Eurico Pinto, Luís Fernandes, Alípio Jorge, Rodrigo Barros or Rita Moreira as members.

José Lourenço Pinto is running again for the Board of the General Assembly, while Ricardo Valente, a councilman for the Porto City Council, seeks to succeed Jorge Guimarães as head of the Fiscal and Disciplinary Council, in a list A in which Américo Aguiar, cardinal and bishop of Setúbal, stands out as the first element indicated for the Superior Council.

If Pinto da Costa, 86, tries to reach a 16th consecutive term as president of FC Porto, André Villas-Boas, 46, makes his debut in the club's elections and bet on Rui Pedroto, João Borges, Tiago Madureira, Francisco Araújo and José Luís Andrade for 'vice' of the board or on Alberto Babo, Teresa Figueiras and Joana Machado as members.

António Tavares, provider of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia do Porto and former PSD deputy to the Assembly of the Republic, is running for the Board of the General Assembly for list B, while the Fiscal and Disciplinary Council will be disputed by economist Angelino Ferreira, former financial administrator of FC Porto's SAD and vice-president of the club.

Fernando Freire de Sousa, president of the General Council of the University of Porto and former secretary of state, heads the list of names proposed by André Villas-Boas for the Superior Council, a non-executive body for which Nuno Lobo decided not to run.

The main face of list C, 54, is accompanied by vice-presidents Dulce Paiva, Rui Nascimento, João Manuel Proença, Nélson Neves and Maciel Carvalho or by member Tiago Gomes, while lawyer Luís Barradas disputes the leadership of the Board of the General Assembly and manager Heleno Roseira will run for the Fiscal and Disciplinary Council.

There is also an independent movement led by lawyer and university professor Miguel Brás da Cunha (list D), who repeats the exclusive candidacy launched in 2020 for the Superior Council and presented 30 names until Wednesday, the deadline for submitting the complete lists, 10 days before the FC Porto elections for the four-year period 2024-2028.

The electoral act takes place on April 27, from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, at the Estádio do Dragão, in Porto.
