Cristiano Ronaldo took to social media on Friday to congratulate Al Nassr on their fifth consecutive win in the Saudi Arabian championship, against Al-Fayha (3-1), having been absent from the match.

"Well done, team," wrote CR7, who was unable to play for Vítor Severino (coach Luís Castro was also absent due to surgery) due to the controversial elbow in the final moments of the defeat to Al Hilal (2-1) in the 'semis' of the Saudi Arabian Super Cup.

It is worth mentioning that the only Portuguese player in the victory of the Saudi vice-champions was Otávio, who contributed with an assist for the first of two goals by Sadio Mané, in a supersonic comeback built within the last 20 minutes.
