Ex-colleague destroys Martínez: "That's not how it was. He goes too far"

The posture of Emiliano Martínez, Aston Villa's goalkeeper, in the penalty shootout against Lille, last Thursday, which earned the English team access to the semi-finals of the Conference League. Samir Nasri, a former French international who was Martínez's teammate at Arsenal, was disappointed with the Argentine goalkeeper's posture, assuring that he has changed.
"This irritates me. I knew him when he was young at Arsenal and he wasn't like that. He was very discreet and now this has become a problem for him", Nasri began by saying, on the Canal+ channel, quoted by RMC Sport.
"In penalties you don't need to provoke the opposing fans and tell them to shut up. It goes too far", lamented the former French star.
It should be noted that the French fans also remember the final of the 2022 World Cup, in Qatar, where Martínez was the starting goalkeeper for Argentina, signing several... controversial moments.
