Matchoi Djaló opened the scoring for the 'beavers', in the 'rebound' to a penalty he himself had missed, at 89 minutes, but the hosts still managed to equalize, following a corner kick, by João Oliveira, at 90+5.

With this result, Penafiel has 34 points, in 13th place in the II Liga, while Paços de Ferreira has 44, in sixth.

The Penafiel players were the first to cause shivers in the opposing defense, when Robinho, in the eighth minute, took advantage of a rebound on the right wing to emerge alone, in a good position to open the scoring, but the crossed shot went slightly wide of the post of the Paços goal.

At 20 minutes, the home team was again close to scoring, through an excellent low cross by Miguel Maga, who found Hugo Firmino alone in the 'heart' of the area, just in front of the goalkeeper, a condition that he wasted clamorously, with a very wide finish.

The 'beavers' response came six minutes later, following a free kick by Matchoi Djaló, which led to an incomplete save by Manuel Baldé and allowed Rui Fonte to take the rebound from a very favorable position, but the goalkeeper made a remarkable second intervention to keep the score at zero.

The second half was poorer in terms of chances until the goals arrived, with Hélder Suker's shot on the turn, at 63 minutes, being the most dangerous move until then.

At 89 minutes, Paços won a penalty, for a handball by Rúben Pereira, and, although Matchoi allowed the goalkeeper to make an initial save in the conversion, the ball rebounded back to the Guinean midfielder to score in the 'rebound'.

When the visitors' victory seemed certain, Penafiel managed to equalize on the final whistle (90+5 minutes), after a corner taken by Robinho, with the ball getting 'stuck' in a confusion that arose inside the area, and João Oliveira, who had come onto the pitch the previous minute, taking subtle advantage.
