Estoril will try to deal with Desportivo de Chaves' "delicate situation"
Estoril Praia coach Vasco Seabra said today that the "canaries" will have to know how to deal with the "more delicate" situation of Desportivo de Chaves, Sunday's opponent in the 30th round of the Portuguese I League.

"Chaves is in a more delicate situation, but has a squad with experience and players used to dealing with this type of situation. Of course, it's a more uncomfortable situation and we have to know how to deal with it," he explained, in the press conference previewing the trip to Trás-os-Montes.
Aware that a defeat in Chaves could relaunch the opponent in the fight to stay in the I League, Vasco Seabra prefers not to focus on that scenario, preferring to keep the focus on the work to be done by his players.
"It's not so much there that we look, it's more in the perspective that we have to do our job. We have been doing it in recent games and have gotten a lot of points, except for the game with Sporting de Braga," he recalled, hoping to overcome this adverse result.
Estoril Praia was defeated in the last match they played, at home against the bracarenses, and have not scored goals in the last two matches. However, the Estoril coach did not show any special concern about this fact.
"What we felt in the game with Casa Pia is that we had opportunities to finish and, against Sporting de Braga, we had a little less dominance in the game to create as many opportunities as we usually do, but it was an exception. We have players who have the ability to create opportunities," he said, confident.
Vasco Seabra recalls that Estoril Praia has only conceded one goal in the last four matches, once again trusting in the quality of the options he has for the centre of defence.
"I can't tell you that this one or that one is better in terms of work, it has to do with a question of how I look at the game and I feel that, for this game, these combine better. What is to be valued is that, fortunately, we have six centre-backs competing fiercely and very well," he assured.
Erick Cabaco, Jordan Holsgrove and Nemanja Jovic make up the group of injured athletes and, therefore, unavailable to compete, weakening Vasco Seabra's options for the challenge against the flavienses.
Estoril Praia, 13th in the I League, with 29 points, travels to the stronghold of Desportivo de Chaves, 17th and penultimate, with 22, starting at 3:30 pm on Sunday, with refereeing by Nuno Almeida, from the Algarve Football Association.
