Ginasta Filipa Martins sixth in the balance beam final of the Doha World Cup
The Portuguese Olympic gymnast Filipa Martins finished today in sixth place in the balance beam final of the Qatar World Cup by apparatus, one day after having been fourth in the uneven bars in Doha.

After having been third in the qualification, with 12.933 points, the Portuguese gymnast was a few levels below in the final of eight competitors, which she concluded with 12.366 points (4.9 in difficulty and 7.466 in execution).
If the Portuguese had maintained the score of the heats, she would have been bronze in the decisive event won by the Ukrainian Anna Lashchevska, with 13.533, followed by the Algerian Kaylia Nemour, with 13.400, and the Italian Chiara Barzasi, with 12.900.
Filipa Martins will compete in the all-around competition of Paris2024, in what will be her third Olympic Games, after Rio2016 and Tokyo2020.
