Maradona, Ricky Gervais and Trump: An England player's 'dream' dinner

Anthony Gordon has revealed he would love to host a dinner party with the bizarre trio of Donald Trump, Ricky Gervais and Diego Maradona. The Newcastle star was the latest guest on The Overlap with Gary Neville as he discussed his career and made the interesting revelation.
Asked who he would invite to his dream dinner party, Gordon said: "I love this question and I always have answers but I'm struggling now...," he began.
"I'd have (Diego) Maradona, I'd have Donald Trump, I'd love to meet him and see what he's like - how he's such a bizarre character, I just want to sit down with him. And Ricky Gervais. Ricky Gervais is up there with the best, I don't know why I didn't put him first, I love him, he's so funny," he said.
It's an eclectic choice from the young Englishman, who at 23 is flourishing in the Premier League, with 11 goals and nine assists this season, including some eye-catching displays in the Champions League.
