Tiago Tomás promises: "At the end of the season, I'll celebrate with Sporting"
The Wolfsburg forward talked about Rúben Amorim's preparation to embrace new challenges at Liverpool or West Ham.

In 2021, he was one of the most exuberant elements of the Leonine party, along with Eduardo Quaresma. Tiago Tomás promises to celebrate again with his former colleagues, even though he is playing for Wolfsburg, in Germany. The Portuguese forward gave an interview to Antena 1 where he 'opened his heart'.
"As I am not part of the squad, I can now say that I find it very difficult for them not to be champions. I think it is difficult because of the competence they have shown, they have been very consistent. I see them with another character, to endure these moments. It is almost impossible to let the championship slip away. We must not set off the fireworks before the party", he said before admitting:
"I have already told them to secure the title, when I return at the end of the season I will celebrate with them in Lisbon. I am very happy for them", guaranteed the under-21 international forward.
Regarding the possible departure of Rúben Amorim to Liverpool, Tomás said: "It is difficult to say, I do not know whether they will win or not. I do not know what is going through the coach's mind, I do not know what his goals will be. For me I would say that he is more than prepared to take on a project like the one that has been talked about. But you never know what can happen in the world of football. On Sporting's side I think that the more years he stays there, the better. On the coach's side, he is completely prepared for the names that have been mentioned", he stated.
