Pinto da Costa attacks Villas-Boas: "If he had any character he would apologize..."

Pinto da Costa visited, this Tuesday, the grounds where the FC Porto Academy will be built, in Maia, and was questioned about André Villas-Boas' interview to SIC. The candidate to the presidency of Porto took advantage of the moment to destroy the opponent from list B.
"UEFA non-compliance? I have been asked that so many times, I have answered so many times, I have said so many times. I have said that we have a letter from UEFA saying that everything is legal and that we can participate in European competitions. I think that this question in this place and at this time is absolutely untimely", Pinto da Costa started by saying to the journalists, quoted by the newspaper O Jogo.
"I am not here to comment on what the other candidate said. If I was, I would have to regret that he said that this centre was a utopia and a stream of lies. That is what I should ask myself if I agreed. I think that after what he said and what you are seeing here, if he had any character, he would have to publicly apologise for the offences he made me by not believing that this was possible", he continued.
"The training has been successful as seen in Switzerland, although we did not win the tournament. But we have players in team A trained in FC Porto, others are in team B, new players from our training and some are 16 years old. With these conditions, and with the fantastic work of those responsible, it will allow FC Porto to have more quality. It is easier to capture those who are not from Porto who will stay here", he finished.
