Pinto da Costa is surprised by Villas-Boas' list: "One is a Sporting member..."
FC Porto President accuses opposition of not wanting "the good" of the club.

Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa gave an extensive interview to the Spanish newspaper Marca this Wednesday, in which he once again took the opportunity to point the finger at André Villas-Boas, one of the opponents he will face in the elections next Saturday.
"When I decided and announced [my candidacy for the presidency of FC Porto], everyone thought I should rest, but when the other candidate's list came out, they told me that they started saying that I had to continue to be president. I felt that the other list's strategy was not to seek the good of FC Porto," he said.
"There are people who are not part of FC Porto's history. One of the main ones is a member of Sporting, another never comes to the stadium... When I saw this, I told my family that I could not allow it and that I had to prevent something like that," he continued.
"If the members think that my candidacy is the best, I am delighted. If not, I will leave the club with a clear conscience, because no one can accuse me of not wanting to save the club," he added.
In the same interview, the president of the blue and white team also left a guarantee: "For me, FC Porto is not a place where I go to provide a service, a job. FC Porto is my life. It is not a sacrifice, it is a passion".
"It does not tire me. Age does not matter. I have an advantage. I have never drunk alcohol, I stopped smoking at 40... What I do not take care of is food. When it tastes good, it does not go down badly," he concluded.
