Nuno Lobo 'throws himself' at Villas-Boas and refuses "link" to Pinto da Costa
Candidate ensures that "it is not because he has a different program" that he will "let down or hand over the president of FC Porto to rivals".

Nuno Lobo gave an extensive interview to Porto Canal this Wednesday, in which he rejected "any association with the president" of FC Porto, and stressed that he has "a different program and proposals" from Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa.
"If I am associated with the candidate and president Pinto da Costa, it is not because I have a different program that I am going to drop or hand over the president of FC Porto to rivals. It is respect for the past and the present", began by stating the candidate for the club's presidential elections, which are scheduled for next Saturday.
"The assumptions of this candidacy were born in 2020 but, in 2024, they saw an extension. The reason why I ran was the situation of the accounts, the existence of negative capital and the lack of eclecticism at FC Porto", he added.
The leader of List C then turned his batteries on André Villas-Boas, denying the accusations that he is "copying the ideas" of his opponent, and said: "I feel used, because I saw someone who, in 2020, was the first subscriber of President Pinto da Costa".
"He subscribed to the bad accounts, the negative equity of 120 million euros. This person subscribed to the hefty salaries of the SAD administrators. This same person subscribed to this academy made in a hurry. One of the people who is on André's list, Mr. Tiago Silva, subscribed to this same academy", he concluded.
