"Ozil's physical makeover? Maybe he wants to be a little Cristiano Ronaldo"

A physical transformation of Mesut Ozil after leaving professional football has been the talk of the town, and even his former teammates are not indifferent to the form of the ex-Real Madrid star. This is the case of Mario Gómez, who was Ozil's teammate in the national team, who made a direct connection to... Cristiano Ronaldo.
"First of all, it is admirable how he achieves this. However, I am someone who believes in a middle ground, because I have already experienced several states and extremes do not lead to anything good. But I also do not know the mission behind this", Gómez began by saying, in the podcast 'Phrasenmaher', quoted by the portal Goal, continuing.
"Maybe it is something rude to say, but that is not my point. When you finish a career in which you received so much praise for years and years, you will naturally look for something that satisfies you. Mesut seems to have found that in the gym. He played with Cristiano Ronaldo and maybe he thought: 'Now is the time for me to become a little Cristiano'", said the former striker who wore the Bayern Munich jersey 174 times, scoring 113 goals.
