"Xavi? Laporta is dragging Barcelona to the economic precipice"

Xavi Hernandez's decision to stay at Barcelona, announced this Thursday after he had already announced his departure at the end of this season, continues to be the talk of Spain (and not only). Manu Carreño, radio host on the program 'El Larguero', did not hesitate to 'destroy' Joan Laporta, president of the Catalans, regarding the management of the Camp Nou emblem.
"Xavi? It's no surprise to me. Xavi didn't want to leave even on the day he announced he was leaving. That was clear. And now he's backtracking. I understand that he changes his mind. It has certainly happened to all of us at some point in our lives," he began by saying, in statements quoted in AS.
"Xavi's problem is that they don't believe in him at the club and they keep him because he is the least bad of the solutions they have on the table at the moment. Everything that comes out of Barça is so embarrassing, that for me it has a main responsible person," he then said, before targeting the president of the Catalans.
"I think Laporta is dragging Barcelona into the economic, sporting and social abyss. Honestly, I don't remember such a delicate moment in Barça's history," he added.
