Germans reveal unusual demand from Cristiano Ronaldo to Rangnick

A demand Cristiano Ronaldo allegedly made to Ralf Rangnick during the latter's interim spell as Manchester United manager over two years ago has been revealed.
Ronaldo returned to Old Trafford in 2021 when United were managed by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but the Norwegian was sacked in November of that year, with Rangnick brought in as interim boss until the end of the campaign.
United star Ronaldo reportedly made a demand to Rangnick over his playing time. According to BILD, Ronaldo instructed Rangnick that he was to play in four out of every five matches. However, the Portuguese forward is said to have insisted that on the one game he would miss, he would not be on the bench but would instead watch from home.
Ronaldo remained at United until November 2022 when he left the club after falling out with Erik ten Hag. Shortly before leaving United, Ronaldo gave a bombshell interview to Piers Morgan in which he was heavily critical of the club.
Ronaldo criticised Rangnick during the interview, saying that his appointment as sporting director made no sense and adding that he "is not even a coach".
