Lank Vilaverdense defeats Leixões and postpones the 'fall' to Liga 3

Lank Vilaverdense refuses to take for granted the demotion to the third tier of Portuguese football, and, early on Saturday afternoon, managed to return to winning ways, by visiting and defeating Leixões, by 1-3.
André Soares broke the deadlock at the Estádio do Mar, in the 14th minute of the match of the 31st round of the II Liga, but the home team managed to restore equality, before the half-time whistle, through Simãozinho. In the second half, goals from Momo Sacko and Gonçalo Teixeira sealed the final result.
After the math, despite this triumph, Lank Vilaverdense remains in the 18th and last position of the table, with 23 points, eight less than Oliveirense, the team that is immediately above the 'water line', after the 3-3 draw with Mafra.
Leixões, on the other hand, is 14th, with 32 points, at a time when there are only three rounds left to play until the end of this season.
