André Villas-Boas calls PSP to assist in vote counting
Request was accepted by the President of the General Assembly of FC Porto.

André Villas-Boas advanced, at the beginning of the evening this Saturday, with a request for the presence of the Public Security Police (PSP) in the vote count of what were the most competitive elections in the entire history of FC Porto.
According to the newspaper A Bola, the request was accepted by the Board of the General Assembly of the blue and white team, Lourenço Pinto, so that, moments later, the order was given to start counting the preferences deposited by the more than 26,000 fans who went to the Estádio do Dragão to exercise their right.
The leader of List B, it is recalled, had already made it known, last Thursday, at the campaign closing event, that he considered the presence of the authorities, at the venue, to be "fundamental" so that the process would take place "in the best way".
The Board of the General Assembly announced, during the afternoon, that it expected to be able to count all the votes within a maximum of one and a half hours, so that, after the calculations, the final results should appear at 11 pm (Continental Portugal time).
