"Darwin Núñez misses more chances than anyone in Europe"

Darwin Núñez is once again in the 'eye of the storm', due to the missed opportunities in the most recent matches, which may have even cost Liverpool the chance to stay in the fight for the English league title.
Troy Deeney, one of the greatest references in Watford's history, used his opinion space in the British newspaper The Sun this Sunday to leave a suggestion to Jurgen Klopp's successor, regarding the ex-Benfica player: "I would call Michael Owen, to ask him to come for some sessions with Darwin Núñez".
"The Uruguayan has all the physical attributes necessary to be a world-class striker, but he just needs to keep a cool head in front of goal", the now 35-year-old sports commentator began by saying.
"Núñez has wasted more clear chances than any other player in the top five European leagues, and if he had scored a few more, it could have been the difference between Liverpool winning the championship or not", he continued.
"Mohamed Salah, who seems to have mentally switched off and already left Anfield, also wasted quite a few. I would keep betting on Núñez, since composure in front of goal can be learned", he added.
