Académico de Viseu scores a 'header' in the crisis and wins against Torreense

Académico de Viseu put an end to their winless run that had lasted since their clash with Feirense on 21 February, by visiting and defeating Torreense 1-2 on Sunday morning.
The visitors started the match in the best possible way, and were already ahead on the scoreboard after just 11 minutes, thanks to a precise shot by André Clóvis. The response came before the half-time whistle, with a penalty converted by Juan Balanta.
Just when it seemed that the match was heading for a draw, Igor Milioransa 'pumped' the ball into the heart of the penalty area, where Arthur Chaves appeared to head it past Vágner.
With this victory, Académico de Viseu now has 41 points after 31 matchdays, which allows them to move up to ninth place in the II Liga, level on points with Torreense, who have not won in over two months.
