Arsenal took another step towards the Premier League title on Sunday afternoon, which has eluded them since 2004, by visiting and defeating Tottenham 2-3 in the headline match of the 35th round of the Premier League.

A London derby that had a troubled start, since in the 15th minute, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg scored an own goal, in the 22nd, Micky van de Ven saw a goal disallowed by VAR, and in the 27th, Bukayo Saka scored, in a move that began with requests for a penalty on Dejan Kulusevski.

Before the half-time whistle, Kai Havertz headed into the back of the goal, and in the second half, it was David Raya's turn to 'smudge the painting', by literally handing the ball to Cristian Romero, who took advantage to reopen the game.

In the 86th minute, it was Declan Rice's turn to 'leak', by kicking Ben Davies when he was trying to clear the ball, causing a penalty that Son Heung-min converted, sealing the final result once and for all.

With this victory, Arsenal now has 80 points, which provisionally leaves them in the isolated leadership of the Premier League, since the second-placed team, Manchester City, has a four-point disadvantage, but has played two fewer games.

Tottenham, on the other hand, occupies fifth place in the table, with 60 points won, at a time when there are only three rounds left to play in the top tier of English football.
