Farense now 'demolition' league and complicates Estrela's maintenance accounts

On Monday, Farense stamped their return to victories in the I League, triumphing in their visit to Estrela da Amadora, by 3-0, in a game that ended the 31st round of the competition.
On the trip to Estádio José Gomes, in Reboleira, Brazilian Bruno Duarte opened the scoring by taking a penalty kick just before the minute mark, punishing Kialonda's handball in the area.
Right at the start of the second half, Belloumi scored a great goal in Amadora at 47 minutes. Near the final whistle, Marco Matias put an end to any doubts, finishing a lethal counterattack by the club led by José Mota (79 minutes).
With this result, Farense practically secured their permanence in the I League, now adding 34 points in 10th place. In turn, Estrela da Amadora sees life getting more difficult to stay in the main echelon, occupying 15th place with 29 points.
