Neither River Plate nor Rosario. Di María is unlikely to return to Argentina
Extremo is in the final stages of his contract with Benfica and still has no future defined.

Ángel Di María's future has been the subject of talk in recent weeks. The Argentine has been linked with a return to his homeland, where River Plate and Rosario Central are interested in him, but the winger is unlikely to return to South America.
Gastón Edul, a journalist for the Argentine television channel TyC Sports, reported on Tuesday that Di María will not return to Rosario Central at the end of the season when his contract with Benfica expires.
The 36-year-old winger had indeed considered moving to Rosario Central, where he began his football career, but he changed his mind due to the city's context and his family's safety.
Back at Benfica, Di María has already played 46 matches, scoring 16 goals and providing 13 assists.
