O Parma, historic Italian club, secured, on Wednesday afternoon, the return to the top tier of transalpine football after three seasons of absence.

The formation from the north of Italy sealed the promotion after a draw at Bari's home (1-1), also benefiting from Venezia's defeat (2-3) in the visit to Catanzaro to stamp the return to Serie A, two rounds before the end of the championship.

The goals of the match only appeared in the second half. Ange-Yoan Bonny put Parma ahead in the 50th minute, with Bari equalizing Di Cesare, in the 68th. The point won served to seal the promotion.

Parma thus added 74 points, being in the first place of the league table with seven points ahead of Venezia, 3rd place, who still dreams of direct qualification. In the middle, in second place, is Como.
