Benfica doesn't score 'Paço' at Luz and pressures Sporting in the fight for the podium

The Benfica roller hockey team played their hearts out and, this Wednesday, did not waste the match against Juventude Pacense, winning by 3-1 in a delayed match of the 25th round of the national championship.
The match started better for the reds and Roberto di Benedetto opened the scoring at Pavilhão da Luz in the second minute. The team from Paços de Ferreira reacted in the best way and João Pereira scored the equaliser in the 20th minute, with a penalty shot.
In the second half, accurate shots by Gonçalo Pinto (38') and Diogo Rafael (45') sealed the victory for the team led by Nuno Resende.
With this result, Benfica is now in fourth place with 59 points, one behind rivals Sporting with one round to go before the end of the regular phase of the roller hockey championship. Juventude Pacense is ninth with 26 points and still dreams of reaching the play-off for the championship.
