Pinto da Costa in tears: "The last title as president of FC Porto"

It was filled with emotion that Pinto da Costa reacted, on Wednesday night, to the conquest of the fourth women's volleyball championship by FC Porto.
"It is very special, it is a section that I helped create four years ago. This year we were alone, without the previous partner and this group is fantastic. It has a doubly special meaning. Firstly because it was won by a section for which I have great affection and friendship and also because it is the last title as president of FC Porto. Two or three days ago I had the happiness of winning a title in roller hockey, the section where I started, and now champions in volleyball, a sport that the public supports. Congratulations to all", stressed the outgoing president of FC Porto, in words to Porto Canal.
Pinto da Costa, it should be recalled, will leave the presidency of Porto on 7 May, the date on which André Villas-Boas will take office as the new president of FC Porto.
